So far, my translation writing process has been very enjoyable and easy. I chose to translate a meme to a scene, and I particularly enjoy scene-writing, so it has mostly been a fun and easy process. Nothing is really surprising to me, it's been going just as I assumed it would.

The argument made in my original genre is that the older generation of "baby boomers" is much too strict and do not understand the younger generations, being millennials and Gen Z. It is also arguing that Boomers are even taking the meme to seriously and not understanding that it is only in good fun.

Yes, the argument I identified comes across in my new text. My scene revolves around a Dad and his son having a conversation in which the Dad does not understand his son. This follows the argument made in the original text, and it shows that baby boomers do not understand the worries of the younger generations, such as climate change.

I am not struggling in any areas. Personally, I think that my translation is going greatly, and I don't necessarily think there is anything I need to change. Although the original text may be lacking in substance, my scene makes up for that lack of substance by creating a story around the argument that makes it easier to see and understand.
