Journal | Everything's an Argument

Yes, I think that anything with a point of view can be considered an argument. Sure, some things don't necessarily show or argue things on their own, but that is all based on the opinion of the observer. I feel as though almost everything in life has an underlying argument, whether it be that one brand is better than the other, or this type of product is the greatest. Technically, all humans have an underlying argument; we are all working our hardest to achieve what we want because we argue that we deserve that achievement.

One item I have come into contact with is my NASA bean. There are a few arguments made by this beanie. Firstly, this beanie is arguing that beanies are comfortable and look better than hats. The beanie also proclaims "NASA" on it, showing how it is arguing for NASA, rather than against it. The beanie is proclaiming that NASA is a great company.

The second item is an iPhone. An iPhone is always arguing that it is so much better than its competitor, Android. Even thought it may not see this way on the surface, everyone carrying around an iPhone is arguing about how better their iPhone is than an Android phone. However, there are a few exceptions, such as people who have an iPhone even if they may not want it.

The third item is a box of crackers. My box of crackers argues many things. First, it argues that the crackers inside the box are delicious and the best. Next, it argues that the crackers are great value and at a very reasonable price. Finally, it argues that the crackers are addicting and that these are the only crackers someone will ever need in their life.
